As soon as I had taken one lick from the ice cream that dribbled down my hand, I realised this was no ordinary ice cream. I had thought it looked strange when I bought it, the blue spots and purple stripes on the orange surface didn’t taste of fruit, it was a new flavour to this world. After finishing every last drop of it, I set off home. Suddenly my hair began to itch, and my feet sploshed around inside my shoes even though there was no water in them. Soon my hair turn orange, and all over I felt ice cold. What would happen to me now?

LIGHTHOUSE CATASTROPHE SAVED BY VILLAGERS!

On July the 6th, 1956, a huge catastrophe happened in a lighthouse in a small village called seatown on the west coast of England. The lighthouse, that stood on a tall rock by the sea, was reported to make a terrible grinding sound, and then the light at the top stopped working, surprising many villagers in the pubs the other side of the cliff.

When interviewed, the lighthouse keeper, who was called Keep, said “My sweaty hands were gripping the metal bar for fear of falling down the spiral staircase winding down the stone tower. When I got to the cogs room I could immediately see something wrong with the works, one of the chains was off its wheel.”

Unfortunately for him, as he reached over the bar to slip it back on, he heard a boat coming towards the rocks. Startled, the old man nearly fell down the deep, dark forbidding hole, but saved himself by pulling on a metal cable attached to the cogs. Immediately the whole contraption fell apart. Keep thought all was lost for the boat but then he heard pounding footsteps coming up the stairs and soon the whole lighthouse was filled with villagers with lanterns. The boat and her crew were saved!

Suddenly the light went off and he heard a boat he quickly looked out of a window to see a massive ship coming straight for the lighthouse. He grabbed his tool box to try to fix the light before the boat crashed. He could see the massive boat getting gradually closer and closer.

The old man frantically scrambled for his toolbox. The boat looked so now.He quickly ran outside, and to his delight all the people of the village were holding up lanterns to show the boat that there was a village here. The Boat just turned away.

Once upon a time there was a lighthouse that lives on island called Bon. This island was a island very far away from where me or you would live. The whether on this island was always misty. But one extremely misty night in Bon the lighthouse’s light went out!

The lighthouse keeper was petrified because it went out as soon as a ship happened to appear through the mist. So what had to be done was done, he brought his beathon from in his attic outside and set fire to it, making it blaze with fury and reassuring the boat to go the right way, which in this case is to turn round the opposite direction saving the many villagers from the crash!

And now there all safe.

OR ARE THEY!

THE END

One dark stormy night, a lighthouse stood in the middle of Butterthorn manor, people drinking, people chatting and a old scared man sat in his chair writing his diary. That night there was a power cut, it was thought to be the longest power cut, in history.

The noise outside from all of the villagers were too loud for the old man so he slammed his window, trying not to get mad. A few minutes later, the wind was so heavy that it blew the old crackled window open again and the candle went out.

The old man wanted to know what the bang was, he bent down to get a lantern, ran up the spiral stairs and….

Knocked over the lighthouse lens and it smashed to smithereens. The man was worried because the boat was sailing towards the lighthouse, the man couldn’t direct it. All worried and scared, the man ran downstairs and all he could see was people coming towards him with lampshades. He turned around and saw the sailors walking as well with lampshades.
