Chessington world of adventures resort!!!!!!!!!!
On the 17th of June 2012 my family and I (Fin) went to Chessington as a complete surprise on father’s day.
On the way there we played a game were you guess a colour of a car. I chose blue, these are the rules of my game: if you were last, if we over took your colour car it would count as one point but if one of us was first and we over took their colour car it wouldn’t count. If a car over took us and that person was first or last or any place it would count as one point. In the end I won with 30 points, the method I used for keeping score was a tally.
I thought originally that we were going to London because most of the signs on the motorway say London so that’s why I thought we were going somewhere in London.
Anyway, when we went to the park Mum and Dad tricked me by saying they paid to park in a better place but you’ll find out how they tricked me!
Once we actually got into the park we were amazed at how big it was. It was gigantic! The first ride we saw and went on was the Runaway Train, it was not the best ride I’ve been on in my life but it was good (Charlie my little brother was really jolly and happy after that ride, which basically meant he enjoyed it very much!). After that we noticed actually how many different kinds of rides there were. One of the other rides we went on was Rameses Revenge and for those people who have been to Alton Towers and not Chessington it’s exactly the same as Ripsaw.
There were lots of rides at Chessington. Bubbleworks and The Vampire were some of my favourites. I liked Bubbleworks because it was a family ride and we could all go on it, even though it didn’t have any action it was still one of the best. The reason that I liked The Vampire was because it was different to the other rides and you hang out of the bottom which made it even scarier!
My favourite ride of the day was by far, Rameses Revenge. It was like sitting on a swing that went all the way round and your seat spun round too! It was awesome. On round 2 you span round really fast, then you slowed down, got held upside down and got squirted with water. I would give this ride a 10/10 rating.
When we got back to the car we had a much bigger surprise! We were staying at the Chessington Hotel, which had a brilliant view of all the animals. When we got to our room we were amazed at all the comfort and the views, we didn’t realise how good it would be.
The next day we went on all the rides we didn’t have a chance to go on, and some of the favourites from the first day. At the end of the day I bought some Chessignton/Alton Towers/Thorpe Park top trumps.
On the way back we saw Stealth at Thorpe Park from the motorway, it was massive and that is now on my to do list.
When we got home we shared a large portion of chips – but we didn’t eat through much.
